Spreadsheets on a phone are read-only in practice
Excel and Google Sheets both run on iPhone, and both hand you the desktop grid shrunk to five inches. You pinch, you scroll, you tap the wrong cell, you give up and wait until you're at a laptop.

Any table becomes a stack of cards, one record per screen. Swipe between rows, tap a field, type. No column hunting, no accidental edits three cells to the right.
Formulas compute live as you type. Enter an amount and the tax column, the running total, and the month's sum update before you lift your thumb.
It's the same sheet underneath. Switch back to the grid on iPhone, or open the file on iPad or desktop, and every row you added is where it belongs.
